1. So, I had my second group interview (as part of the program and placement part for the apprenticeships) today. The actual interview went pretty well. I wasn’t nervous, I answered the questions well, and didn’t stumble too much over my words. I said everything I wanted to say, and how I want to say it. I was relaxed and didn’t feel like I was being interviewed.

  2. I think one of the worst things is having to put on a front in order to protect your feelings.

Feeling like crap or like you’re gonna cry but slapping a smile on just to save face in a very public setting is just awful.

Because avoiding “unhealthy” foods at any costs isn’t good for your mental health, and since mental health and physical health or usually directly linked, being a “health freak” can actually make you unhealthy.
People who suffer from orthorexia can actually often suffer from many nutrient deficiencies, and/or become underweight because of their fear of eating things that aren’t “clean foods”.

If my friends served fruit salad to snack on during a movie night, I’d happily dig in, but since it’s usually popcorn and crisps, I’ll just as happily eat those; just like most healthy-minded and healthy-bodied people do. :)

You shouldn’t be scared of food! And if you are, then you need to get help to recover from that fear. xx
